How to use The Sims 4 cheats and testing cheats
First off, you will need to allow access for the Sims 4 cheats listed below to be used. To do this, you will need to press Control + Shift + C (for PC) or Command + Shift + C (for MAC) whilst you are in an active Sims 4 household.
You will then see the cheat bar appear in the top left hand corner of your screen; when you see the cheat bar appear, type the cheat you want to use and hit enter. It’s as simple as that, browse through the selection of Sims 4 cheats below to use.
to use testing cheats, open the cheat bar as above and type TestingCheats on or TestingCheats True and hit Enter, Cheats are enabled will now appear in the cheat box. To exit the cheat bar, simply type exit into the cheat bar and hit enter, alternatively, press Control + Shift + C (for PC) or Command + Shift + C (for MAC)
Bow that testing cheats are enabled, when you shift click an object or a sims, it will give you a variety of extra options such as fill your sims needs, make them happy and much more! There are also some nifty tricks that don’t require you to enter a cheat code, such as:
- "[" and "]" - This will make a selected item in build mode bigger or smaller in size
- "0" and "9" - This will make a selected item in build mode higher or lower from the ground
- Top tip for builders, if you select the “sims 3 camera” this will allow you to freely rotate items in build mode!

Here are some basic cheats that are base game compatible, such as adding household funds and unlocking hidden items!
- Kaching Adds 1,000 Simoleans to your sims household funds
- Motherlode
Adds 50,000 Simoleans to your sims household funds
- Money x
Will add or subtract a specific amount of funds to your household
Money 10,000 will add 10,000 Simoleans to your household funds
Money -10,000 will subtract 10,000 Simoleans from your household funds.

Disables or enables death

Allows you to move objects anywhere you want, good for building. Use the 9 and 0 keys to adjust the item you're 'holding'.

Lets you buy items that are normally hidden/require gameplay challenges to be completed

**You must first use bb.ShowHiddenObjects cheat before entering this cheat for it to work** Once done, type in the cheat and you will be access items used in world structure

Build on lots that are locked from edit

Ignore Gameplay Unlocks Entitlement - lets you buy items locked by careers.
- sims.give_satisfaction_points x
Gives a Sim x amount of satisfaction points with which you can buy rewards i.e. Sims.give_satisfaction_points 1000
- fillmotive x
Fills a sims motive, i.e. fillmotive energy will replenish this sims motive
- sims.fill_all_commodities
Fills all needs for the selected Sim

Skill Cheats
Sims 4 Skill Cheats
To increase your Sims skill set, you will need to use the cheats listed below to increase your Sims skill. The majority of these skills are up to a max level of 10, however some have a max level of 5 and Vampire lore goes up to 15, where the max level is not 10, it will be listed on the below to help. The "X" on the below list is where you will need to insert the number value level you want your skill to become.
i.e. Stats.Set_Skill_Level Major_Gardening 10 will take your Sim to the maximum gardening skill.
Please note that you may not get special awards at each stage of the skill if you jump from 0 to 10 right away. If you want to see what extras can be obtained you may was to increase the skill one by one i.e. Stats.Set_Skill_Level Major_Gardening 1 then Stats.Set_Skill_Level Major_Gardening 2 and so on...
Top tip - this can be quite a lengthy cheat to type out each time, so you may want to copy and paste this into your cheat bar, to do this, highlight the cheat below and press "Control + C" then with your Sims 4 game open and the cheat bar open, press "Control + V" and the cheat will paste into the cheat bar, but remember to add the number you want to achieve instead of the "X" below.
